Tried the lace transfers for the first time. They have some great potential.

Thanks for checking in on the progress.

Wow, or WOW! some body work, didn't know there were lace transfers. I'm guessing the women's craze for "notebooking" foto books offers a wealth of possibilities for modelers too!

John, thanks man, I do think outside the box don't I.
Al, thanks buddy, you really don't want what I am on, it's not for the in experienced AMT '57 Chrysler 300c: Redo/Tweak - Page 3 1792231099

So the first colour layed down is Pearl yellow over Spazt Sitx chrome, which turned it a very cool shade of green. It's Model Masters enamel, thinned with acetone. I'll have wait until tomorrow night to put down the other two colours, Pearl Translucent Blue, and Kandy Krimson. No idea how this is going to look when I am done, might end up being a complete gong show. AMT '57 Chrysler 300c: Redo/Tweak - Page 3 1578238153

Thanks for the very kind words H.

The main colour aspect of this concoction is complete. Now it's a waiting game until the paint is thouroghly gassed out and dry. Then we see what lies beneath.

Dude, that is so utterly cool! I had been wondering where you'd go after that wonderful curbside experiment - this is just amazing.

The complexity and variety in paint technique reminds me of the 1970s vans. You've got painting down cold!
Biking, I support it. If I were just a lot younger I'd be right behind you.
