Awesome mods going on! The inset grille is fantastic, the subtle stuff like the hood is similarly effective and the fender looks superb.

Thanks fellas!
I hit a bit of a snag with the painting.
While cleaning the AB I use for shells I forgot to remove the trigger o-ring. I use Acetone, which completely destroyed it.
I tried shooting the hood with my work horse AB, unfortunate the tip/needle size is too small for the glitter in the nail polish and it just kept clogging.
Had to wait until this morning to get a new one.

Thanks Chris.
Finally figured out what I am doing wth the paint on this. It's no where near my earlier rough rendering. I decided I didn't want t make a career out of another paint job, lol.
First steps today. I will be using the water droplet technique on part of this paint job.
There is a model contest next weekend and I am hoping to take this along with a few others. Such as the 49 Merc, the Rossi GP bike, and "the Willys train wreck", just for fun.
Thanks for looking in guys.

Whoa, this is a lot of fun to watch. I like the reshaped front end. The seat decals are great; never saw those before but they're brilliant for the loud upholstery of the fifties and sixties. Can't wait for the final paint!

Re: AMT '57 Chrysler 300c: Redo/Tweak
Thanks for looking in and for the comments guys!
I messed around a bit today. I added on some watch bits as stencils, looks like I need to come up with a better method of attaching them. I used tiny bits of blue tac. I didn't put too much effort into a solution in to how to attach them as they are only be an under lay. They will be covered with a black lace transfer.
I think if I were to use them as a detail feature I might attach them with fish glue then remove it with water when it was time to remove them.
