Gotcha. As per the Accurate Miniature kits then.

So the chassis looks a bit nice and old-ish, yet the skid plates are brand spanking new.

In the next updates - with the chassis being well splattered from a forest stage - is the exterior going to be treated similarly ?

Easy there, It's not finished yet. I 'm reluctant to muck it because it took ages to get it right.

Well, they could be new replacements to be fair.

Kevlar twist pattern decals. Awkward because of curves and ninety degree corners. Thankfully they are of a good quality, not like that bloody McLaren.

Even Microsol with a tiny brush wouldn't make that easy. Nice result.
Got a closer pic?

I don't have any problems with decals, but that looks difficult lining up the weave pattern over the mini wings in the second pic.

I can be gullible at times - but are they like the cans that spray two different colours at the same time so you don’t have to mask off when painting camouflage and tunnels ?

Superb ! ....looks spot on.
I know a lot of people would miss the odd detail, but there is a certain satisfaction in knowing you’ve got it nailed !

I love looking at builds when so much detail is there it keeps you going back because you noticed you missed something. Too bad a lot of it will get covered up when the body is installed, but as they say, "you know it's there".

Easy! The grass between the wheel tracks in the forest stage has cleaned all the gunk from the skid plates.
