That looks great, Skid!
I would thnik you'd want the engine on display as much as possible.

Al, you never cease to amaze me with your talent. That car is definitely going to be museum quality. The "Tommy Gun" is outstanding.

Thanks guys, your kind comments mean a lot to this old geezer!!! LOL
John, 'Little Tommy' is actually 1:18 scale but somehow still manages to look in scale.

Moving along steadily now.......
.... until a minor disaster struck. The chrome trim that holds the side lights was 2.5mm to wide at the top..... so I had to cut it in the center, in order to get it to fit.
NOT IMPRESSED Minicraft!!
I'll cover the join with a little piece of BMF and call it a joint cover!! LOL
Chassis is now permanently married to the fender assembly.

Looking great, Skid.
Yeh, takes a little effort to correct some of Minicraft's flaws, But a great model can be had !

Re: 1/16th Ford Model A (Police Sergeant's Car)
Everything is looking good.
Don't shoot the messenger, Al. I think Minicraft repackages the kit. The same Minicraft assortment was available in the 80's under the Entex name. If you look closely at the sprue trees, you can usually find an imprint like 'Gaaken' or 'Doyusha' or some similar smaller foreign company. They provided access to Far East models before ebay and major importers were around.

Re: 1/16th Ford Model A (Police Sergeant's Car)
Yeah I know Minicraft didn't master the kit Mike but in the absence of knowing who did, I hit out at them. LOL

Re: 1/16th Ford Model A (Police Sergeant's Car)
I went back to page 1, and the shortcomings are plenty, but if one can kitbash it with something else and scratch bits here and there, it would be nice, however done.

Looks good Al. I'm wondering if that gauge is a calibrated speedo? I can't see the details well enough to be sure, but it would make sense that the officer have something a bit more accurate that what Henry would provide.
