Al and Curt those look like some good kits
Here is what I got for my B-day
one of my fav. WWII aircraft
in 1/25th scale
and in 1/16th scale
Been wanting one of these for years
It's a jewelry drill press and the min. size is .05mm with a max. size of .6mm and seems to work real good but will find out for sure tonight on a 1/16th dist.
I do have another 1/16th dragster coming in later this week also so till then

I like the Corsair too John, built one a few years back but don't remember the kit maker!!! LOL
Hmmmm.... bit of a narrow range, did you mean a max of 6mm?

Al your right, it is 6mm I miss read the spec sheet
I put a .07mm bit in and drilled some holes on a test sheet of plastic and it works good as long as you keep the RPM low so you don't melt the plastic and with a nice straight hole so I'm ready for the dist. now

Nice Drill Press. I bought one at Home Depot for $100.00 that will take a .030" drill bit. Man you have to be easy when you use them small bits. LOL

Nice ambulance, Al - and it's made in a scale that's begging for a shot-up biplane with wounded pilot to go alongside.

I was close to my local 'model' store (mostly diecast and railway) to-day, so called in to have a mooch, as he does get in 'pre-owned' kits from time to time, which he normally sells at reasonable prices.
This was on the shelf at just twenty quid including a brand new and sealed can of Tamiya spray which normally costs £7.00. So bit of a bargain methinks!!
