Great scores John but that Model A looks a bit like a mini monster truck in the boxart.
I'm a happie chappie right now. I just won this one off eBay. They are somewhat like hens teeth over here at the mo so I'm really pumped.
Now I'll be able to do a proper one for me. Got a Ross Gibson, 426, Hemi Pro-Stock with Hi Rise for it!!!

Great scores. I have the 37 Ford Coupe and 32 Ford Street Rod (Yellow with Flames) and both are good kits. Can't wait to see y'all's WIPs threads. 8)

Al: The box art is misleading. Actually this can be built either hot rod or stock. What makes it look so mean is the wheels and tires.

I assumed that John. The box art makes it looks like it has been jacked up.!!

Re: Styrene Addict. Show us your latest kits here.
not supposed to be buying anything this month...............in fact not supposed to be buying anything all year unless i need it for a GB somewhere! lol...........but this came up on evilbay from a guy only 2 miles away........won it for £9.50
got it cos i nearly had a 1:1 years ago.....ended up with a Clio Sport instead
weird that a company like Fujimi would do a kit of a car that didnt get imported into japan
the guy actually had two of these but i got outbid on the second one.....mind you i can see that the guy who won the second one i outbid on this one so i guess its fair

Last Renaults in the U.S. (if memory serves) were the R-5 (LeCar) and Fuego. If it's possible for styrene to rust, the Renaults are good candidates. That's one vehicle unknown here.

Paul.... watch out for the fit of the nose. It's not very good at all.

Re: Styrene Addict. Show us your latest kits here.
Probably a good idea not to build it yet. I was once at a contest where somebody brought a huge scale model of the ship "Old Ironsides" the U.S.S. Constitution and even in a clear plastic case parts had vibrated loose. Best of luck when you get to build it. Hope to see the fotos when you get to it!

That's one of the Monogram good kits and a rare one if I go by box art. Very nice catch!

Re: Styrene Addict. Show us your latest kits here.
happened to pass my local MZ today so called in to see if there was any closing down sale bargains
bit disappointed really......shelves were stocked pretty full of stuff but not much took my fancy, specially since they were only knocking 20% of the price of kits.....guess the big price slashes will come as soon as they know when the stores will be closing.
did have a chat with the guys in there......there 'might' be a 'possibility' that the warehouse could send a delivery at the end of the week ready for a sale, 'maybe', but they wouldnt know what they are going to get until it arrived
but paint and stuff had 50% knocked off so stocked up on a few paints and weathering powder
did get these tho.............i dont really do large aircraft simply cos i dont have the room to display them, and ive already got plenty of big stuff in the stash but i couldnt turn down the last Cranberry on the shelf for £4.70, could i? lol
