Revell 1/8 ford 32 rod

Hi all I've decided, as I used to customise bikes in my youth I would do a custom paint job on this I've started the background sky, I'm intending to do dragons and stuff on it, I've done it matt so I can draw and paint on it then in the end I will gloss it.

This is the kit I have. For some reason I can't upload the picture of the kit. Windows 10 seems to not like it.  But here are the pictures of the two engines that come in the kit.

This one is called "A Modern OVH V-8"



And this one is the Flathead Ford Option



I guess I will have to take another picture of the kit so you can see which one I am talking about. it's the Revell 1/8th Scale Deuce

I recon it was a money saving thing, mine is a much later release than yours, I assume the second engine is on a separate sprue, I think they just omitted that sprue.

That well could be. This kit was a Christmas gift in 2004. I have never built it. So large to display.

Looking good! Love the mural idea, can't wait to see it form. Looks like you got a good start on the background conceptualization and the large scale gives you a nice 'canvas' to work on

Hi all another update, my customising days are obviously behind me, I used to be good at this, still the advantage is I can always respray with another job, and I'm already thinking of something

 Involving black and gold.
