Revival 1:20 F2 1953 Ferrari 500

Well it's finished now.

IMO it's a terrible kit and leaves much to be desired, some in accuracy to the 1:1 and many in fit problems, notably the bodywork and the bonnet in particular.

Onwards and upwards.

Excellent work. Sure does show your skill when you turn out such a beauty with what you started with.

I know what u mean.  That said, nobody who doesn't know its shortcomings will mind.  It looks GREAT!  Perfect in any collection of racing's history, and it didn't cost big money either thanx to your care in constructing.

Looks good from here. I think you did a great job considering the problems involved with the kit. If nothing else you can build a diorama and show it smashed into a tree or retaining wall or something. LOL

It's WAY better and WAY cheaper than Halfords stuff.

It's not quite as good as the 2k but is a lot more convenient when you don't need such a shine.

You did a great job with that kit, Al. Sometimes we have to accept less than great quality for the sake of the subject matter.
