Goodwood Revival weekend 2023

Just a reminder to those that might be interested in vintage racing cars and bikes....
The Live Stream is now under way for this long weekend at Goodwood.
Minis, Mk2 Cortinas, Cobras, E Types and classic Italian marques ....and more, all battling it out over the next three days.

Was lucky enough to get there twice years ago when it was a bit less busy than it is now.

If you have any petrol at all running through your veins, you must get there at least once if you live anywhere at all near it.

....I’ve only been once, in 2017 with a couple of friends for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. I saw so many iconic cars, and the noises were fantastic - but it’s very middle-class with rich men playing with their very expensive toys - a world away from a poor bloke from Northern England.

I few years ago I remember seeing a guy who stuffed the back end of his Ferrari into a barrier. I think it was a 250. Definitely not an inexpensive hobby.

Yes a rich man's playground, but they hand their car keys over to real racing drivers and tell them to go for it and they do!
