Lots of cool detail on a fire engine.

Soooo close now. I've repainted the headlights & need to get an exact position on the mudguards for 'em. Ladders are painted & on, ditto the
rear guards.  I'm still pondering a black grill. I think the decals & the accessories break up the red fairly well.

I'll sort the open section of the bonnet over the weekend. The hose on the reel is black heat shrink, shrunk & flattened with an iron
( when Anne was out!) My next attempt will be better, but I can live V 1.0 here.

 I've been good & mowed the 'grass',done my washing so all my weekend chores are done.  

So the rest of the weekend can be devoted to 'things I want to do' not 'things I have to do'

Looks great Chris. I do like your details on the hoses and ladder. They are awesome!

I would leave the grille red. I think black would just be too much on a mostly red truck. It would stand out too much. If the headlamps are something other than red, it will help break up the colors.

Soooooo cooool!  Luv the stunning finished look with ladder in place.  It's a real transformation!
