More Finished Models...I'm on fire !
Wow...what a week, I have managed to complete quite few of my unfinished models.
'32 Ford Phaeton jalopy, built from my spares boxes.
'40 Ford Coupe - built the old way - no foil, no wiring.
Henry J drag racer - fitted the fiddley acetate glazing - pity about the ill fitting tilt front end.
I started this build about 3 or maybe 4 years ago.
'34 Ford Coupe Racer - the latest of the builds, and where I decided to fit the engine from a Tony Nancy dragster.
......that's on top of my '69 Mustang, '65 Chevy Pickup and '56 Ford Truck.
I'm on a mission to try and complete a few more, with a good dozen that only need a couple of hours work each,
so I might have a few more finished in a months time.

Thanks Guys,
obviously my modelling block is broken, and I'm working on finishing another batch.
They are not up to competition winning standards, but I need to clear the decks for better builds to come.

Maybe slowing down a bit will keep "burnout" from coming on. I luv each and every one! The blue Ford, built almost box stock makes it with the engine look and body paint choices. My fave may be the '34 with the old style blown engine. You rock!

The digit has been extracted! My picks are the gassers on the drag strip.
That Henry J roof line looks really close to a VW type 3 fastback from that angle.

These look great, all of them. I especially like the 40 Ford. Nice classic lines.
Chris, I agree with the roof line on the Henry J. It does remind one of the VW fastback!

YES! It does have VW fastback roofline. BTW, early in his career Dustin Hoffman did the VW tv ads. He climbed around inside and out and finally at the end pointed out where the heck the engine was. Ad maybe on the web somewhere.

Re: More Finished Models...I'm on fire !
Thanks all,
- but my plan to complete more of my semi finished models was scuppered only a week after loading up my last batch,
due to an emergency visit to hospital for a detached retina of my right eye.
With orders to rest up for a month with no eye strain, and no bungie jumping,
my modelling has come to a halt,
- and I'm typing this through one good, and one very sore and blurred eye.

Thanks for the kind words.
I will be giving up the internet for a while, as the eyes can't take the rolling pages,
but modelling is in my psyche, and as the saying goes : "I'll be back"

Follow the orders Ron. A detached retina is nothing to mess with; too much at stake
