Nice one Bruce.
I don't know about this particular kit, but of the old Monogram kits I have built, they seem to have pretty good fit.

Re: '40 Ford Pick Up Gasser
Well, finally, here are some updates. Hope to use some of these.
Filled in some of the sink marks, then cut out the single exhaust.
Cut the front suspension apart and will flip the axle over to give the front end some lift.
Going to use a Ford 9" rear end, so cut the leaf spring off and grafted it to the rear end. Then made some coil springs and plates. Also plumbed in the brake lines.
Also plan to use Modelhaus chrome steel wheels and AMT slicks and front tire.
Next to work on the motor.

Nice I like the wheels. They look so period correct. Nice build you got going. Good to see you posting again.

Good work Bruce. I like the rear axle brake tubing. Neat.

Cool stuff! I wonder if the body/fenders will look stock. We'll keep watching.

Nice detail work, Bruce. I like your use of the punch - they make perfect circles out of plastic or beer can easily.

Re: '40 Ford Pick Up Gasser
Plan to keep the fenders and body pretty stock. The doors open and would be very difficult to chop. Also, this is a late 50s or early 60s Gasser.

Re: '40 Ford Pick Up Gasser
Nice work Bruce and I agree with Buck on the wheels. It will look great with chromed steelies.
