Hmmmm. Left rear looks kinda blue in this foto, left front more true color. It's a mix I cooked up with 1 Shot sing enamel.

It's looking great Clay. Wheels look different colours to me too. Probably just a lighting thing.

Re: Big Rat A sedan
OH, YEAH !!! That is sweet !!!!
The doors on the A bone
Have been hung with some slop.
The fit is atrocious
From bottom to top.
Minicrafts instructions
Are all but ignored.
'Cause bassackwards their going
On this large rat rod Ford.
That this is a junker
Is my saving grace.
I can go all out sloppy
Without losing face.
::)

Re: Big Rat A sedan
I'm posting this, because y'all already know what a colossal screw up I can be.
Now I know better than to use open flame, and I have had some luck with boiling water before. But in trying to get a little warp out of these doors, I got the right one a little too hot in boiling water and totally FUBAR'ed it.
Here, I have started to cut it apart. Hopefully, I can get it rebuilt good enough to redeem myself.
There is a reason I like to build junk !

I echo Buck's post, but it's not the end, I'm sure.
In a way it's lucky it's a rat rod and 'welded' in repairs will still look okay.

Yep. Also lucky I had made an inner door panel for the left side and intend to use one of the model 's upholstered for the right side, so the repairs will be hidden on that side.

Repair's looking sunny
Right on the money
Isn't it fun
Soon you'll be done
Nice one Clay.
