Re: Big Rat A sedan
This morning, I did some detailing and weathering on the chicken wire assembly, and mounted the headlight brackets that I had made from the model A's rear bumper brackets .

Re: Big Rat A sedan
Along with doing some other things, I made a tail light out of a 1:24 Chev hubcap and a large lens from the custom ones that were in the 50(50) !!! ONE MORE FREEKIN TIME (fifty) Ford. almost still too big for this scale !
Wasn't all that easy, so the rat will only have one.

Yeah Mr Hat's Off has been causing some problems. It's to do with each Smiley having to have a number. His was 50!!! I could have given him another number I suppose but I chose to give him the big heave ho!!!

Re: Big Rat A sedan
A little update so's y'all don't think I've croaked.
I've been laying low, babying the knee so they won, have a reason to think they have to completely redo it ! As it is, they have to open it up again after the bone heals so they can remove the wires that broke.
I did sneak out to the studio one day last week and drilled holes in the visor.

Should be having some updates soon.
Knee Dr today.
Broken wire hasn't changed. If I can keep babying it for 6 more weeks, the knee may have healed enough for the wires to be removed.
Dr acknowledged he uses bolt cutters to cut that wire !
I have a brace that I think I'll use so I can go out and do stuff. Sitting in the house sucks big time.
It's 84° here in Florida !!

Isn't it funny how you can go off some people...
Seriously, hope you do take it easy Sir, you can make up for it when the wire has been removed...

Hobbled out into the warm Florida afternoon, Fired up the compressor, and sprayed some weathering base coat. Now, for some artistic brushwork.

Now I can start getting stuff done. Working under the dash. Have the pedals in and the coil on the other floorboard. Now to find/make stuff for the drag link to the front end
