Best wishes for a smooth procedure and an uneventful and quick recovery. That last photo of the masking is just awesome, it redefines the term 'blobject.' Take care and try not to get too bored, think of it as a great excuse to watch all those really cheesy 'guy' movies SWMBO won't let you watch when she's around

Good luck with the surgery Curtis. Maybe you can use a pea shooter to finish masking the canvass.

Re: '41 Willy's Pro Street Curbside
Thanks Denis, that would probably work. That reminds me of this storey.
I had a CJ7 back in the early 2000's that I had built with a fibreglass body, a fully custom mod lifted beast, only Jeep part left was the steering colum, speedo and the frame. By the end of the project I had no more money for paint so I paint bombed it with flat black rattle cans. Then a good friend and I grabbed a 24, two pieces of 3" string, in one hand a beer, in the other was the string. We would dip the paint in florescent green paint then slap it onto the body.
We finished the 24 had a blast and ended up with a wild looking paint job.

Last update and last application of coverage media. No idea if that is what it's called. Anyway the blue tack was finished up tonight, then I slapped a rough clear coat of PU. I was really hoping to get the chrome on before Friday morning. It actually works out, the PU will be fully cured by the time I lay down the Spaz Stix Chrome.
Shay dude, I kept the Space Invaders.
Not going to happen, heading into the job shop tomorrow morning.
I'll be on line til Sunday night. Thanks for checking in guys.

Once again everyone, thanks for the interest and support with this wacky adventure.

Thanks dude. It may just have something to do with the roof, ;-), just saying.
Not sure if I am going to go with a fade on the rest of this or use the latex masking for a hard edge leading onto the panels.
My eyes are getting so bad, even with 3.5x glasses, I had a hard time defining where the underlying panels were on this little test run.
So until I actually get my ass in gear and get proper prescription glasses I think a hard line will work. That way I can just lay down the Chrome and not be concerned with the edging and fading.

S those cheesy "guy" movies too.
Thanks Kats, I appreciate the sentiment.
