Re: Old Henrys love child.....
Had a thought...Why use a can of primr and lob it out complete...So I used the plastic can top (abs or what guys?....) to create the inner frnder wells for the rear,it is a tal and slim 300ml can but I have other sizes in stock.LOL
So it will create the wells without too much trouble and nicely rounded too! Once trimmed to suite they wil be epoxied in place and the flat areas built up with card stock.

Re: Old Henrys love child.....
Sometimes plastics can be slippery, so roughing up the smooth with fine sandpaper may help paint adhere, tho not always necessary.
The can top idea is a good one, depending on the size needed. I wondered what to do with 'em, now we have a use besides as a "paint pot" for blending colors!

Re: Old Henrys love child.....
Not got much done lately, not am I recovering from a stroke but.....I have ostio arthritis and by lower back has ben giving me greif!
Imagine someone twisting a bowie knife between your back bones and you get the idea!!
Anyway I have slapped some bondo on the rocker panel and got the inner wells epoxied in place, they can be trimmmed down afterwards..

It's amazing how much work has gone into this build.
I don't think I would have risked chopping up two cars, but it works.
Can't wait to see the finished result.
