Re: Mile End Garage.
Thanks all.
Panel by panel, I applied some Revell Aqua Colour (man I hate using that stuff) 'Sky'. (looks green not blue to me....LOL.) This was done by fine spraying the centre of each panel to get the 'colour right, followed by fine coats over the pre-shading.
Following the previous stage, I found that the pre-shading came through the paint a little more after a few days, so I'll let this settle for two or three days, then decide if it needs any more.
Assuming not, the next stage I think, is going to be applying 'rain streaks' to each panel!! Well at least that is the theory!! LOL

Re: Mile End Garage.
Thank you boys!!
Jason, good to see you posting again buddy!!
Andy.... check my posts. Rarely go to bed before 2am.
As expected, the pre-shading bled through a tad too much, so taking advantage of this, I applied another panel by panel coat of paint. This time Tamiya Buff. Now the pre-shading is very subtle but I'm thinking it may come through again to where I would like it to be.

I think when you begin the timber beams the walls wil 'pop'. The top panel
looks great, brilliantly aged.

Re: Mile End Garage.
Thanks Ron.
This is all pretty new to me, so I have confined my efforts so far to this one rear section. That way if it all goes you know what, then there is not a lot of harm done and I can start over without it being a big job.
I think I'm just about where I want it to be now.
This update shows some application off 'Snow' from Tamiya's Weathering Kit B. After that was applied, I went over it again with 'Rust' from the same kit to give it a bit more depth. It's very subtle but it is there.
The effect I wanted was, worn plaster work that has been painted several different but similar colours, that has worn thin over the years, and is now letting some of the previous shades show through, together with accumulated day to day grime.
It's far from perfect but I'm reasonably happy and calling it a day. Just have the rest to do now.
