`40 Ford Rod.
This was a glue bomb that I originally built in the late `70s. Rebuilt it 3 years ago.
This pic by Lyle Willets was the inspiration for this build.
Made some cheater slicks with a variable speed drill and a razor saw.

Cheater (a few thin grooves) slick idea is great! The cars without front fenders but protruding grille and often big headlights are like some of the bug-eyed pets, the owners luv 'em but strangers just wonder! Thanx for doing a fine replica of the real thing!

That is a sweet looking Rod. The cheater slick idea has now been stolen, thanks for that.

Nice work Steve, I've been rebuilding a few glue bombs too! Its always a good feeling when you see an old favourite with a facelift.

Re: `40 Ford Rod.
Thanks guys.
This is what it looked like back in the early `80s.
Looks stock on the outside, but lowered with an injected Olds motor.
I've just realised that I had built a Moonshiner when I did not know what they were.
