Looking sharp! The different colours really offset the the flat finish.

Re: 32 Ford Rat Rod
I like the primer finish. From the looks of the bare plastic the finish wasn't the best and getting a perfect shiny finish with the trunk louvers would be hard too.
The 3/4 view shows the thickness of the wheel spokes, which hurts the look a bit. I used to carefully file each spoke to enhance the reality. Somebody suggested to me to just spray the wheels flat black and brush paint the front edges. I was stunned by the simplicity. A few years later the mag wheel "spoke" look came along and some people just gave old spoked, thick wheels the magnesium look. Ideas to consider until the beautiful wheels we've seen here on the Ferrari 250 become more common.
The flathead engine is a nice touch too and the tri-carb setup is classic! Thanx for a cool project so far!

this was a built from the same kit, never had any problems with the bare plastic, it might just be the pics I took that made the plastic look odd....it's the Revell 5 window kit out a few years ago

Re: 32 Ford Rat Rod
It's looking great Craig and I too like the bomber seats. How about making a couple of cushions for them?
You can form them out of Blu Tac and then paint them. I've done that before for aircraft and it works great. The neat thing is, if you don't get it right first time, just re-work the Blu Tac!!

Re: 32 Ford Rat Rod
I like the bomber seats as well. I think some cushions (as Al suggested) would be a great addition too. No way a driver could sit on that hard metal for longer than 10 mins without having a major pain in the backside!
Great job!
Great job!
