Okay fellas here is a kosher build this here is the Russian Battleship Bornodino kit manufacturer is Zveda Not a bad kit the only thing missing on the model is the railings without them the model is less attractive ........ In all perspective it shows the evolution of the Battleship design

I too was wondereing about the 'booms'. Like Clay I thought torpedos adn mines. But woulddn't that set them off anyway or does it take the 'impact' out of them?

Yes, from the look it reminds me of ship gun placement like the Maine. An early dreadnaught! Excellend look to the decking and really fine tweaking to make it all look real.
