It's looking great Sam. Are you putting anything on the bed?

Re: Chevy Bison
Trailer looks great. And the engine, I believe that is the old Detroit Diesel 2 stroke 8V71. They had the roots blower, but no turbo yet.
Looking good!

Re: Chevy Bison
Nice work Sam. I think it's cool. Why is the engine all green? Is that the way that paint an industriall diesel engine? I am asking because I don't know. I am used to cars with a balck starter and an orange block and you know the drill.

Re: Chevy Bison
Buck, way back when, all of the old Detroit Diesel 2 stroke engines were painted this color, sort of a pale green. This is very close to the actual color. And it was like they assembled the engine, and then painted it all the same color!!!

Re: Chevy Bison
Yea Buck, the reference pics I found were ALL green except the belt. Its a little bright, but a wash should tone it down.
Thanks everyone. I have some orange peal in the paint of the cab, and that bugs me, but i think if it gets weathered, it should be just fine. lol

Re: Chevy Bison
Nice detailing Sam! Great paint detail on the interior, and the BMF looks good on the hood.
