Chevy Titan 90

Life has been really busy for quite some time now but the other day a couple boxes arrived in the mail from Paul (2whl).  With everything going on in my life I realized I had not touched a model in over a year. So I cleared off the catch- all that was my bench and proceeded to see what would happen. This is where I am at so far.




First had to download the instructions and sort out the frame. The rear crossmember was missing so I found something in the parts box that would work.




Have the basic chassis assembled

A great color choice for all the chrome doo-dads that get added on.

It's a great kit. Nice work! There was a piece on sectioning out the sleeper to make it into a yard hauler that I intended to do long ago, but all I got was old instead! Glad you're building, we're enjoying!

Harron, I think I would enjoy sitting down with you, looking at your old builds, and talking models.

Duplicolor GM bright aqua.

So I am getting more fiddly bits sorted, painted, and attached.

Are you going to 'gunge up' the engine a bit or going for the brand new look.

Nice work...its a good kit. I have built many big trucks over the years myself...its sister kit the GMC Astro use to have a optional Turbine engine choice...was very cool...shame they dont put that back in the kit. I always liked the old spoke wheels on the big trucks. Nice.

Thanks everyone !  Al, I think it is going to be shiny, lol. The goal is to just finish it. I don't want to get derailed.....again.


Here is where I am now. I have the interior pieces painted other than detail work, most of the chassis finished,  and sat the body on to see how things looked.

The interior is completed. Either I had too much caffeine today or I am just getting old. Oh well, calling the tub finished before I make it worse.
