53 Ford pickup

Used a Pontiac OHC 6 and 69 Camaro seats and door panels. Lowering was achieved by simply using lower profile tires than stock.

Love that color! Nice detail on the interior also. Where did you get the engine? That is not one you see every day.

Thanks. The six is out of the MPC/AMT 69 firebird. The color I custom mixed for a 59 Chrysler imperial.

Exactly lol. And especially because I'm not working at that shop anymore. But I have almost a quart. I'm willing to paint for a few or for kits.......

Now that would be nice, a steady supply of paint for free or at a reduced cost and a million different options.

Yeah it sucks getting let go there. They reduced their workforce by 10%. I mixed this paint for a 59 Chrysler Imperial.

Its harsh loosing your job, more so if you get good stuff from there too.

Won’t be far off that, either way, it’s a nice looking paint job

Oh WOW! Simply wonderful. Luv the metalflake color AND the use of the rarest of rare OHC engines! The '53 amt pickup is still superb for all the extra custom parts it came with. UFF DA, HAH!!!!
