Hi Skid,
This is a great looker, I do like the green, may I ask what you used for the bed please...
Andy...(off to look for the build thread )

Thanks Andy.
The bed was simply sprayed with Humbrol Matt 85 (A flat tan colour) then dry brushed with a couple of other browns for the wood grain effect. Finaly, the metal strips were done with BMF.

Re: 1950 Ford Pickup
It certainly had me fooled, I thought it was some balsa wood or lolly sticks, as for the BMF stuff, it's like most other things I have yet to try it out...Skid wrote:Thanks Andy.

Skid: Great job. Just what I would expect from you. The only nit I have to pick is where are the outside mirrors. I'm usually the one that leaves them off, not you.

Re: 1950 Ford Pickup
Very original paint design. At first it looked a bit like "scallops," the saw it was totally different. Rear bed wood did look real. Metal rub strips there are always a problem. To paint silver, black, steel or to foil, it's a frustrating decision.
