Yet another 1/8th E type race car !
1/8th. 1963 Jaguar E type (British Racing Green).
Following the Metallic Blue E type, here is my first venture into the marque. I have posted finished photos before, but not a build thread,
Bought damaged, and had been dropped, the body was broken at the door hinges, so those had to be addressed. Front suspension was in bits so new parts were made, with the usual extras. One thing I couldn’t replace was the windscreen, which had broken in two - thankfully almost in the middle of the screen. I tried an invisible repair, but it wasn’t, so a screen support was utilised. Not the perfect answer, but I’m afraid it was the best I could do.
Paint is Range Rover metallic British Racing Green - and I used RC wheels because the wires looked too narrow, and not racey enough.

Did you balance, blue print, port and polish while you rebuilt the engine?

Looking great. Great save idea on the screen Ron.
Those carb trumpets look terrific, did you scratch them or were they kit parts?

Thanks .
Al ....If you have made up brake pipes for your Pheonix, you must have used a brake pipe flare tool ? ...and that’s exactly how I made the trumpets.
