The kit is an Airfix 1/32 scale Triumph TR4a.

I have to say that this is a truly AWFUL kit and had I known just how awful, I would never have chosen it.

To give an example, the engine is little more than an amorphous blob. The dia of the top of the dashpots on the SU carbs scales out at almost 3". The real deals were no more than 1" Poor fit, flash etc abound.

Anyway, I did the best I could with it.

The roll hoop and bar were scratched, as were the headlight covers and rear light 'blankers'. I also filled the radiator with putty for a smoother look. Wish I'd made a new part from styrene now. Decals are from the decal stash.

Suspension was lowered a tad and the 'Moonies' are screw top covers from a DIY store. They are a bit 'domey' but I can't find the much flatter ones I bought a couple of years ago. However, I'll buy some more an replace these ones.
