1929 Ford Roadster Pick-Up Empty 1929 Ford Roadster Pick-Up

Well she's finished and ready to go to the Dublin IMPS show.

Considering the age of the kit it didn't have a lot of problems. The biggest one was a warped fender section which needed straightening.

The 29 Model A has one of the nicest grille surrounds of any car in my opinion, so it was a great dissapointment to find that this one had been rattling around in the box and had suffered badly from 'box rash'. 1929 Ford Roadster Pick-Up Armata_PDT_02 It also had quite large and prominent attatchment points. 1929 Ford Roadster Pick-Up Armata_PDT_021929 Ford Roadster Pick-Up Armata_PDT_02 So I stripped it and did it body colour as the lesser of two evils.

When I first saw the photos I thought I had several scratches..... turns out they are reflections of headlights and 'studio' lights. 1929 Ford Roadster Pick-Up Rofl Got dust on the bonnet too!!! 1929 Ford Roadster Pick-Up Armata_PDT_08
