Looking very, very good Geoff. I wasn't aware of the kit, so it's on the list to replace the old AMT ' 69 Malibu I have.

Excellent work! The interior is fantastic, as are the engine, undercarriage and wheels, then I got to the grille and bumper ... Wow. And I can totally understand loving the AB - I got my first a few years ago and for a time it was all I used for painting. Looking forward to watching the development.

Looking good Geoff boy.
Coverage looks good, I'd be tempted to clear it now before it gets a shade darker with another coat, the colour is gorgeous at the moment.

And at this point, Revell are relieved that I'm building it for them..
There's still a lot of work to do before the clearcoat will be coming out of the paint cupboard, there's 4 small dust nibs to be wet sanded out, then once washed, dried and wiped over with a tack clock, it will get a second and possible a third coat, before drying out, and only once I'm 100% happy with the finish will it get the clearcoat applied.

Re: Revell Chevy Chevelle 396SS
You can fix that, I'd just prefer it in the slightly lighter shade it's in at the moment. But knowing you that won't happen. lol
I'll be over the last week in Sept. I've been sent to Coventry.

Are you painting it in a yarn factory? I paint my stuff in my dusty garage and don't get stuff that big in my paint.
Looks like its a little too dry too. But if you planned on wet sanding it to shoot more coats all along I guess it doesn't matter.

Try having two cats & two pet rabbits. I could build a hermetically sealed hobby room with an outside only entrance that is
hermetically sealed and still get pet fur in my paint.

Geoff does have a putty tat.
You can get all sorts of shite in the paint I guess to be fair.

I got it all sanded tonight,I need to give that room a bit of a deep clean, to be fair most of the dust nibs,a grand total of 4, we're only around 1mm one was around 2mm, and yes, the car does enjoy sitting out there given the chance.
Re: Revell Chevy Chevelle 396SS
It's going to be like a scene from Casualty if you need prepaint wipes for a model car Geoff.
