Beautifully crisp and sharp BMF work! And each time I am drawn to that wonderful body colour.

A step by step tutorial on BMF would be great Geoff, remember no one gets burned at the stake anymore. I am particularly interested in how you burnish and avoid creases/folds.

I'm going to have to do a YouTube video on Bare metal foil, as this is the most asked question I get asked all the time.
Using the correct tools and plenty of patients it really isn't a hard job to get good results with BMF.
Tools of the trade for my BMF work, a Testors burnishing tool, a fine pair of tweezers, a brand new #11 scalpel blade on a #3 handle, don't try to use an old blade, it will only tear the BMF instead of cutting it, a few wooden sticks, the smaller ones are actually cuticle sticks, available from most pharmacies or beauty stores, and cotton buds, regular and triangular, triangular for getting the BMF into small recesses and regular for buffing.

Any pic of the Revell UV resin Geoff?
I assume it's similar to Bondic.

Here you go, it's pretty much the same as the UV resin I get from China

Around £8.50 retail, or free if you build models for Revell
Re: Revell Chevy Chevelle 396SS
Would you buy it?

In short, No
Yes, it's a good product, but around £8.50 for 4 grams, when I can get 60 grams from Hong Kong for under £5, ok, you'll need to buy a UV torch, these can be picked up as little as £3
I'm really not sure why Revell would include the UV marker pen,is this product a modelling item or for security ??
My recommendation to Revell will be, get rid of the UV pen and make it a little cheaper.
