Box Art Laguna Chassis Update 5-10
Well I am still here, after building a few sporty car racers, I had a little medical situation, a mini stroke. The prognosis is good, watching my diet and doing what the doctors say, and I am back building and playing my gigs. Here is a left turn car I started a few weeks ago.
Bought this kit cheap at hobby lobby a few years back and really didn't know what to do with it, the decals weren't to my taste and the car was molded in blue. The leaf spring rear end is also totally wrong. Then I tried a can of Testers light blue enamel with some trepidation, the paint laid down pretty good, and it turns out that converting to a long truck arm rear suspension was practically a drop in. Just a little nip and tuck! You need an old AMT NASCAR donor, though! So I thought lets just have a little fun and build a box art model. I never did that before. Here's what I have so far. Hope ya like it!

Thank you, the decals actually we're a pleasure! Pliant and durable. No excess tear and they nestled down well. Didn't need any micro set.

Laguna has nice lines and was distinctive. Cool build, for sure.
