The Wayward Jeep
I thought that I had put this up here before but I don't see it anywhere so I will go again. P*bucket issues have caused most of the build photos to be gone but I will share what I have.
This is a Korean War Jeep that is based on a short story written by Bill Mauldin and published in the Saturday Evening Post in 1953. It centers around a California hot rodder that ends up in the motor pool in Korea. He finds a flat head V8 in the scrap pile and over the week end swaps it into the general's Jeep that he has been assigned to drive.
The model is an MPC WWII Jeep that I dropped a Flat head Ford into along with other modifications as described in the story.
Pictures of the finished Jeep will be in Finished Words shortly.
