Wayward Jeep
This build is inspired by a humorous, short story by Bill Mauldin from the July 27, 1953 Saturday Evening Post called The Affair of the Wayward Jeep. The General's Jeep gets a flathead V-8. Started with an AMT WWII Jeep kit.

Re: Wayward Jeep
How cool! Never saw a flathead 8 in a Jeep before. Excellent!

The flathead tucks in there very nicely, Dan.

Interesting build. The engine swap is very cool indeed, I look forward to seeing this develop.

Re: Wayward Jeep
That's looking good Dan. Love the rusty engine.
Now you need to rust out the body a little.

Re: Wayward Jeep
According to the story, the engine was rusty but the Jeep was new. The general requires his Jeep to be kept clean.
