Chevrolet Monza Empty Chevrolet Monza

Post by webby Tue 26 Sep 2017, 11:26 pm

I've always liked the looks of the Chevrolet Monza and its H body relations. In the huge bumper days of the mid 1970s, they were a refreshing change in looks.
Body is in Tamiya Mica red. As you see its getting close, but I won't have it done until after I get back from my 11 day Bathurst trip.

Nice, I love that Monza shape too.

Is that amt or mpc Chris or what? Can we see the box art please?

I assume it's the normal slightly suspect amt 70's kit Chris, but is there any chance of a look at the instructions please? Can't find them anywhere on line, there was an IMSA version too I seem to remember.

Nice...! I like it looks great. Years ago a buddy of mine had a Monza Spider with a beefed up 400ci and 4 speed in it....wild car.

Here you go Shay! It's not such a bad kit. Separate sides for the interior are a bonus in a kit from that era.

And while I'm here, an update. I'll fit the engine today, finish the interior and do some glazing. The colour is misleading, its more a medium tan, rather than the greenish tinge showing here.

Easy to see what a difference the different color "carpeting" make in bring it to life! Fine work.
