Chevrolet Cavalier
AMT promotional kit, with some parts box wheels. I was going to fit a Cavalier engine & floor pan from the non promotional version of the kit, but there were too many missing parts.
So it finished up a curbside kit. Not GM's most inspiring car, but if its in 1/24-25th and from GM, I'll build it. Eventually. And it fills a gap in my collection between the Vega/Monza and the later Barettas.
A quick and easy build too. Sometimes they're what the doctor ordered.

Really excellent, clean model. I wouldn't think of it as basic, it looks SOOOO GOOD!

Re: Chevrolet Cavalier
It's a so called J car I think Paul, they even had the beautiful Cadillac Cimarron as one version.

Re: Chevrolet Cavalier
Nice build! I remember a red Cav with some nostalgic fondness - from back when I ordered take-out Chinese food often enough that I got to know the regular delivery guy's name. Seeing it pull up in front of where I lived (back then) was a Pavlovian bell. To this day if I glimpse a similar looking red car I suddenly get 'the munchies,' lol.
