USS Enterprise ... sheet metal kit, something a little different.
Got this as a fun present from my son at Xmas, just got round to building it up.
Comes in flat laser etched sheets that you bend and roll to give the required shape, then small tabs hold the whole thing together.
The package
The finished article, It's 5 inches long.
The etching detail is quite good
Close up of defector dish showing rolls, bends and tabs

Looks cool mate very neat, how long did it take to build? I have seen a couple of these on Ebay which sparked my interest but not bought any yet.

In total about 6 hours trying to take my time and do it properly, and a couple of bleeding fingers Ash ... Some tabs are sharp when you snip them off.

Never thought about the danger factor but it does make sense.

Been seeing these on ebay for quite some time now but never seen one built. Could you post a photo with the standard scale measuring device please Colin.
I think I may buy one of their Star Wars AT AT's.

That is the best of the small u-bend-the-metal models I've ever seen. Big congrats on something that would really challenge us!
