this is the last model i built, about 4 years ago. I sectioned the body, added a Tonneau cover from a 1962 T bird, the interior from a 2005 mustang, Mercedes headlights and frenched tail lights and side exit exhaust. A parts box Chevy big block and Hillborn injector setup. The paint is House of Kolor Lapis blue, and Pegasus Wheels. I used silver solder for the roll bar hoops.

Looks good. I built this a couple of years ago and had horrendous fit issues. What kind of luck did you have?

Was yours the Revell / Monogram kit? That's what this one started out as, but the body was cut into 5 pieces during the sectioning process. The chassis was heavily modified as well to get the low stance and accept air ride type shocks. I have built several of these over the years, Convertibles and sedans with little to no fit issues. I always found them to be a good kit.

Very nice. How did you do the gauge bezels?

The gauges and bezels are the kit pieces from a Jada 05 Mustang kit. The entire interior was taken from that kit and modified to fit. The console was also modified to join the tonneau cover between the seats.

Thanks, I was trying to give an old body style a modern street rod look. I'm fairly happy with the results.

Masterful work, in particular the fitting of the T-Bird "tonneau/headrest".  Blue and white classic look!
