1937 Ford Sedan Pro Street
Well it looks like I am the first one here.
Here is my 1937 Ford. I built the car as a drivable Pro Street car. The basic kit is the Revell Motorworks 1937 Ford Sedan. The back half of the frame and the 4 link are from the Revell 1941 Willys Street Rod kit. The Engine is from Nagasaki Resin. It's their 351 Ford engine and Tremec 6 speed Manual Transmission. Excellent quality and the fit into the frame was effortless. The wheels and tires are also Nagasaki Resin parts. The back Mickey Thompson's scale out to 32.5 inches tall and 19 inches wide. Again excellent cast parts. I recommend them to everyone. The rear end is a Nagasaki Resin 9 inch Ford. Good quality and easy to put into this frame. The paint is an accident. I wanted to try painting a car with finger nail polish. I found what I thought would be a cool color of Gold at the dollar store. When it dried it was far from cool it was double ugly. Not knowing how to remove finger nail polish I paint over it with House of Kolor Candy Tangerine "and that boys and girls is how Candy Rust was born".
I want to say that this has been one of the best forum projects I have taken part in. Lot's of members taking part and tons of ideas on how a 1937 Ford should look.
