Al and I are doing an air racer dual build on another forum, but I figured you guys might want a look at what we're up to. Box art, contents and a start on the engine.

Here is some more pics of the construction. I don't know why I put any effort into the cockpit cause once the fuselage is joined it's impossible to see any detail.

All of the flying surfaces on.......now it just needs it's first color.

Got some more work done on it. The joints needed some putty and a second coat of primer. then it was on to the paint booth.

It's ,looking good Paul.

I stalled mine 'cos of the scallop painting problem. I think I'll go with a striped version instead.

I was wondering what about the plane reminded me of some car. Today, solved! The tiny cockpit canopy way at the back is like Mickey T.'s Challenger tiny rear canopy! The plane was the Gee Bee and the Challenger was by M.T.
