Sush Matsubara was hard-headed to say the least. He tried to drive the Pisano Brothers Corvair like he drove his Fiat fuel altered ........ and the results were disastrous .............. a beautiful car was destroyed ............. refusing to back off the throttle after a wheelstand (from the right-hand lane), he rode the wheelstand all the way to a collision with the left lane outer retaining wall ............ and this is all that was left

The AA/FA were some cool to watch race. You never knew which way they would go or how the driver would react to the car. Ah yes the Good Old Days.
