Lamborghini Countach LP500S
This is a Tamiya re-issue. It used to be motorised so the underside is very poor as is the engine bay but I gave it my best shot.
I thought I would try the photography outside this time.
I wired up all 12 cylinders as best as I could.
I actually went as far as to add carpeting to the interior for this one.
The bodywork was not very symmetrical and needed a lot of prep work, but stilll, I like the end result.
Thank you for looking.

Stunning, both the build and the photography. I don't think you could have picked a better color for this one.

Miura is on the bench at the moment (well, when I get the bench finished). Unfortunately i've already done the colour as light green.

Yellow is so hard to paint and look good. Looks like that wasn't an issue for you.

Re: Lamborghini Countach LP500S
The plastic was red exept the nose which was black to begin with and needed major de-flashing and smoothing. I used around four coats of super fine white primer and around four coats of bright yellow, then I made a mess up with the micro mesh and cut through the paint on one or two raised edges so another two coats of yellow and it was just about right in the end.

Re: Lamborghini Countach LP500S
Great job! The color suits it and wiring does make a big difference. I have a number of the kits (Monogram brand?) and with all the literature I have on that one, I should do one. Especially I see what looks to be a "pin wash" of the demarcation lines for the body panels. I think these really add to the realism and it's routinely been used by military modelers for years, thanx!
My fave Lambo, maybe I agree with Skid. I did see once just a block from my middle class suburban home, a man and his family in an Espada (4-seater), a real shock!
