Thanks. I have the front suspension and axles on. I can't put the wheels on yet, just painted them yesterday with enamel and they aren't dry. So I will thin the fenders on the body with my Dremel, they are molded way too thick, about 1 foot in scale. Then I need to prep the body for paint.---John

I have the wheel wells thinned out. Actually you bevel the wheel wells giving them
an optical illusion of being thinner. The first picture shows the overly thick body material
in the wheel well area. The second picture shows the beveling to "thin" them out, you
can see the bevel in the second picture near the blue pencil on my bench. The third picture
shows the beveled edge showing , creating an optical illusion of it being thinner.---John

The wheels still aren't totally dry but I was able to push the tires on
from the rear with no damage to the rim paint job. After the wheels were
installed I painted the center dust cap and lug nuts silver.---John

Thanks. I finally got to mask the body and paint it. It was done with Testors spray can enamel
so it will take a few days to a week to dry. I was so engrossed in building small parts for my
CB build I was totally neglecting this.---John

Nice paint job.

The body is dry enough to handle. I took the masks off and did a test fit to the
frame. Starting to shape up. Now to paint the body interior gloss gray then add some
glass.---John

I have the glass in and the body attached to the frame. I started the decals and about
half way done. Hopefully it will be done this week end.---John
