1953 Hudson Hornet
Finally finished this one after being away from the bench for a long time.
It's the Moebius kit which for some reason gave me a few headaches that started with the Alclad treatment of the parts and I kept fighting with it from there. Box stock only with Testors' lacquer system Root beer. As Dan calls it...the root beer float. Only thing is the interior doesn't show off very well but otherwise I'm satisfied with the results.
Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks Sam! I know how much you love cars from the 50s. It's actually the first I build from that era.Sam wrote:Excellent work Denis. Its a beauty !!

Denis: Glad to see you building again. Great job. I particularly like the engine.

Re: 1953 Hudson Hornet
When I see an old tank like that, it makes me wish for more of the old "orphan" cars, like the Kaisers and later Packards. I wouldn't mind a nice Lincoln either! I know there are resin jobs, but nothing beats a complete kit with all parts there and fitting together easily. Maybe someday there will be a few.
