Cheers Clay,I am starting the paintwork now and then its back to the mechanical side of things.

I got some colour on her,it was a quick and dirty mask job after spraying it whith.


Then I sprayed it Ford electric orange (candy) I had a run one one side and the paint went funny on the roof,it has since been rubbed down and resprayed.




If...it looks ok in the morning then it can be cleared.

 

Lookin' good! That color is sure gonna pop in the sun.

Well I got her cleared today.





I have been scuttling away at the chassis too,it was created with plastic card and the framework is not structural.Just as long as it looks structural is fine..

Right, as long as the framework implies realism, it's fine. Luv the color and when I built, discovering clear was a revelation. Yours looks good, Keep us posted, thanx!

Been working on the suspension,the botom arms are 55 Chevy and the macpherson struts are from the spares box (unknown unbuilt Tamiya kit!) with a bit of evergreen as a cross brace.It needs tidying but the glue is still tacky so it will have to wait!

Will you be setting it up ala F1 FRIC suspension system? LOL

I have rmoved the front susp X times till it was right and it is sorted now,so here is a mockup with the wheels 'on'...

 

I have now painted the suspensoin and fitte the door cards,seat and dash....As the upper front frame is attached to the upper body and the rest attached to the floor I had to fit everything through the windshield opening!  

You had to fit every things through the window probably because you painted it orange, like the General Lee! :D

HaHa I had not thought of that.  

Well this has been fighting me every step of the way,I decalled it and the decals refused to come of the backing paper...The front suspension had to be moved [b]yet again..[b] and so on....Still it is getting closer (thankfully!)

Well it is nearing completion,the front wheels and engine have been fitted - even though the engine is mostly hidden by the rad shroud!
Next is the door handles and mirrors - they were only sprayed tonight so will leave them a while...LOL
