Wow, I had a lot of stuff to catch up on this one; hadn't seen it since about May. The scads of tools and other details really bring it to life. Very nice painting everywhere Al.
P.S. Excellent scratch built netty!

Wow, that's a super nice little kit. You don't often see great detail in the "little" scale in autos.

That's real nice Paul and thanks for posting but at 55 quid for what is probably curbside, it's too rich for me.

Re: Stobb's and Son Garage. Formerlly Mile End Garage.
When I was on holiday last week, I paid a visit to The National Motor Museum at Beauleiu in which they have a re-creation of a late 1940's counrty village garage.
Well, that set me thinking about this one. It's been in it's box way to long and I have way too much time in it, not to get it finished before I finally to that big race track in the sky. ( euphemism for dying don't ya know!)
So the Brabham BT50 is going back in it's box for the second time.
There is still a lot to do to this one and these are just some of the bits yet to add:

Re: Stobb's and Son Garage. Formerlly Mile End Garage.
Still more stuff to add:
The wood bits in the above photo is a staircase to the pper floor. (IF I can manage to fit it in.)
Dodgy Dennis and his father:
Dennis's restored Aston Martin Ulster. (IF I can fit it in)
The Austin Tilly and trailer will go on the 'forecourt'. The trailer will no doubt be full of stuff.
Being such a long time since I did anything on this one, I'm not quite sure where to re-start. Guess I'm just going to have to 'dive in'.

Brilliant !
Everyone should have a diorama, a little place where we can disappear into away from the big bad world outside..........or is that just me ? 🤪

That's a great description of a diorama Ron. I like it.
Well DD has now finished staining his home made table and benches and is looking forward to 'having a brew' on it when his work is complete.

Re: Stobb's and Son Garage. Formerlly Mile End Garage.
It makes a pleasant change from cars.
It’s a known psychological trait, that affects most modellers and builders of model railways - the attempt to control the world around us by creating one in miniature of our own. It extends to those that build model cars of vehicles they can’t afford, or wished they had. It’s called Paracosma.
Whereas, those that are involved in football as a pastime are the foot soldiers, doing battle each weekend - someone who will follow a leader without question, and generally of lower intellect than we creators and people of imagination. I remember this from when I did a course in Psychology while at college as part of influences in Graphic Design, 57 years ago, because the reference was that of me

It’s the host of detail that makes a great diorama.
Personally, resin water would give the trough another dimension.
