Re: Toyota Castrol TOM'S Supra GT
This is looking very sweet...
Why is it that after all the years that models have been made, are decals still not that great...

Looking good - Tamiya once produced the best decals,
but now, probably due to cost cutting are not so good with cracking being the main problem I come across.
I've just bought some decal paper to print out my own using my printer,
I hope the results are favourable, at least it's worth a try.

That's Great !
We all get models that give us problems. I usually end up putting them back in the box and forgetting about them for a while.
...but good on you for seeing it through, and turning out a great model.

I know what you mean about those Tamiya tyre decals, have never been able to get them to work. I just bin them these days (although I did try again unsuccessfully on the F189) and ignore the lack of tyre markings.

Re: Toyota Castrol TOM'S Supra GT
I haven't tried the Tamiya tire "decals" and wonder if some of the problem may be if the tires themselves aren't absolutely clean. We wash plastic and maybe for tires, we should wash them too. Just a thought.
