1966 Buick Wildcat
Last one until I download more from Google photos. This was built out of the box except for the vinyl top, and spinners. This was the first time I have tried my hand at making a vinyl top. I used the masking tape method.

That's another cracker Sam.
I always liked the W front and rear on the 65

Another great model with subtle mods.
I can recall buying this kit in 1966, a brand new model then.

Hi Same,
I agree with the others, this is another great build Sir...
I have to ask, what is the 'masking tape method' please...
1966 was a fantastic year Sir...

Thanks everyone.
Andy, you look at pictures of the real thing, then glue a really tiny, thin piece of plastic, one that Evergreen makes, and glue along what would be the trim around the bottom of the top, representing the molding on the real thing. Then, take a piece of masking tape that is trimmed to look like the center section of the roof, put it on the model, then two more pieces that slightly overlap the center piece, that gives you the seams like on the real car, then trim around the molding, sides of the windows, and windshield molding , then paint. Clear as mud, I know.

Very good. Colour combination is nicely selected.
