AMT 1966 Buick Wildcat

Well it's done. I think it turned out fair. Not my best but not my worst either. The experiment of using Aluminum Foil and Foil Adhesive for the trim was a great success. You really have to work at this kit to get it to be a sow's ear, for it to be a silk purse you would have to scrap the one piece chassis and start over. I would build it again but as a Pro-Street car with a different chassis. Any way here it is.

It's still looks very good Buck - you can only work with what you are given.
Trouble is, we are getting spoilt with the detail in modern kits.

It looks great to me Buck but the rear left is flat in photo two!!

Great looking old chrome-laden classic. Love that kit.
I could overlook the chassis if they just got rid of those radiator wall screw bosses on the reissues!
