About six months ago I saw an older gentleman getting out of a 1992 Toyota Corolla in the supermarket car park.

I walked up and said I used to have one of these as a company car as a junior sales rep back in the day. The road tax was about 400 quid from memory, so I told him to ring the Motor tax office and get it changed to a Vintage/Veteran log book which is what happens here when your jam jar hits 30 years old, the road tax is only 56 quid a year no matter what size the engine is.

Saw him today first time since, he told me he had it all sorted out, he asked what my poison was and bought me two 6 packs of Heineken!

I do believe that what comes around goes around lads.

Well in all fairness I saved him 350 euros on his road tax for every year to come.
