Many of the diecasts I rework have an open back to the wheels. I was wondering how to cover them up when inspiration struck ( helped by a cleansing ale)  Metal washers. So, downstairs to the workshop washer collection.

Bingo. A quick squirt of black, superglue them to the back of the wheel and presto, brake backing plates.
