Fabulous detail Dave, did you make the gear lever from a pin?

No Shay, it's with the kit. I painted it gloss white.

Re: 1982 Corvette Stingray
I bought nail painting brushes in a Poundshop ages ago (well, I got the other half to buy them..lol)
One of them was like a very small pin striping dagger, I had look, but can't find them.
That's very impressive, what did you use Dave?

Re: 1982 Corvette Stingray
Thanks all. More updates.
The provided glass was smooth so I hand etched the heating elements into it with a sharp knife to keep it in line with the reference photos I'm using.
Hand painting the tiny side lights. I'm not sure yet whether to paint the surrounds body colour or just leave them silver.
Popped the back lights in.

Excellent work. The taillights are beautiful. I believe the side marker lights didn't really have any bezels, but were set under body colored surrounds, which were flush with the body panels.

Re: 1982 Corvette Stingray
I'd white glue in the side marker lights to see what they look like, they're tiny anyway.
You seem to have a slight recess for them?
If you're not happy, take some pics.
There's plenty of dodgy advice available from the Dublin and Haydon Bridge Contingent

Re: 1982 Corvette Stingray
Excellent progress! The window heating lines are a wonderful touch. I echo Shay's idea of using a temporary adhesive/glue for the side lights. Maybe the little touch of silver will add a bit of subtle pop.
